Hi! We’re your hosts Emma and Fin! We’re a married couple in our late thirties and we’ve been exploring non-monogamy in different ways since nearly the beginning of our relationship more than twenty years ago. But, this podcast isn’t about us…
We strongly believe there isn’t a “right way” to be non-monogamous or even that non-monogamy is better or more evolved than monogamy or any other relationship style. Every week we interview people from across the spectrums of gender, sexuality, and relationship style to learn from their incredible and powerful personal stories.
Each episode is a unique perspective and personal story… Pick one that sounds interesting and give it a listen!
We hope that by sharing the amazing journeys of those who are redefining and pushing the limits of what’s possible in relationships that we can show people that they’re not alone and inspire us all to embrace our true selves so that, together, we can open minds and live authentically without shame.

In her early twenties Dedeker continually found herself wanting to cheat on her partners even though she loved them and still wanted to be with them. She never cheated, but after confessing this to a friend of hers one night, he pitched the idea of open relationships to her. After she was done being offended, she researched it extensively and began the incredible journey that led to the story she shared with us. Beyond that, her experiences and wisdom have helped her craft the incredible Multiamory podcast as one of its three co-hosts. This conversation literally takes us around the world and across pretty much the entire spectrum of non-monogamy. Enjoy!

Claire and Phil met in high school but didn't end up getting together until a few years later. They've been together for over 10 years now and sort of stumbled into non-monogamy pretty early on after giving each other hall passes in college. Spoiler alert, it was a learning experience! Since then they have had some ups and downs and explored a blend of swinging and polyamory. Lately, it seems as if they're finding their groove and they are loving it!

Brian and his wife have been exploring non-monogamy in various capacities over the past few years and have ultimately decided to separate. To protect her privacy, they decided the best strategy would be for Brian to share the story on their behalf and we appreciate their vulnerability in doing so. It's a great example of how many people leap to the conclusion that non-monogamy caused the relationship to end but as you will hear, it's a lot more nuanced than that.

Eliza and Scott have been best friends for 25 years, they may have also hooked up a few times over the years. A recent car accident awakened something inside of them and now they're married. Not only that, they have an open marriage agreement. Sound simple enough? Didn't think so.. And it's actually a lot more complicated than it sounds.
These two have an incredibly heartwarming story and a very deep love and admiration for one another. They're learning to navigate a whole lot of new things together and have been discovering that while it's not always easy, they wouldn't change a thing about it.
